Description

Our unfortunate above, being executed, is being crucified in the Japanese manner. After the cross is raised the victim is speared at least twice, then left on the cross for three days.

This is set in Japan around the year 1650 AD. This is actually Shioki (execution) rather than Kinbaku but they are closely associated with one another, so I have illustrated a Japanese style crucifixion above.

According to Wikipedia, these guardians just pierced the crucified's heart and lungs quickly to get their money (wages) soon for the poor guilty persons (men and women) had to be dead immidiately.
