For my old viewers: For now it is back to Kinbaku Tidbits for a while. To give me time to think up more ways of presenting Kinbaku. I have posted, a few days ago, some Kinbaku videos of 5-7 minutes long, they now have their own section in my gallery, more will be coming in the future. I suggest looking at my 'Kinbaku Forest' it has sound and some music, as well as a story. It was on my old YouTube Channel for years and fairly popular. But note it may a slow start for some, being 5 minutes long, because it is a story. It is meant for a full sized screen not a little box on the screen. Also note that 'Kinbaku Forest' pictures are in my gallery. With a sampling on the left hand side of this page if you scroll down a bit.
For my old viewers: I having finished my first Ming Tale. A story related by a senior Japanese goumon hito (torturer) to his Joshu (helper) over lunch about the tortures used by the Ming (Chinese). Now I presenting kinbaku Study Six, a study of the use of a bamboo frame. Used of hanging a number of uke (subjects) at the same time for public display.

For my old viewers: I have finished another Namban tale so I am going present another round of Kinbaku Tidbits for your delight. This is will be the 16th collection of them I have presented. This will give me prepare other sorts of collections. Maybe some Chin torments or other things which I may dream up to present.
I am also still working on a bibliography on what is available in the English language on Kinbaku in books, movies and the like from outside of the normal Kinbaku web sources for viewer study.
For my new viewers: I have now posted over 3800 illustrations in my gallery. A good portion of which are arranged in story lines, some short, some hundreds of illustrations long. My artwork is mostly a display the Japanese arts of Kinbaku (tight rope bondage), Shibari (binding), and Goumon (torture). That is why I refer to myself as a Kinbaku illustrator. There are also a number of special series like "Kinbaku Story" and "JIro's Jinmon", in my galleries, each 200+ illustrations long. Series like "Kinbaku Story" and "Kinbaku Nightmare" are done in a large format (4k). There are also galleries like "Kinbaku Tales" which have a number of shorter stories. Besides that I have number of large scale illustrations of Japanese Castles and fleets, in my gallery, which I have made from scratch. So explore and discover.
My illustrations are often placed in a sequential series with accompanying text to explain them more fully. The text enhances the illustrations and gives more life to the story. So to get the most out of my artwork view my illustrations and read the text. The text gives a voice to the characters in the illustrations. The text often contains notes explaining the situation more fully. Many notes are educational concerning the nature of the Japanese society in 1600 AD, at the end of the Sengoku (Waring states) period. But be warned, I pull no punches in my illustrations and commentary, my material is not for the faint of heart. It explores the dark side of people and society. Especially the beauty and mystery in the art of Japanese rope bondage.
My recent illustrations, over the last several years, many hundreds of them, are presented, as downloads, in 3840 x 2160 pixel format (4k). They can fit nicely even on a 40 inch screen. My animations are in 1280 x 720 pixel format (HD). Remember that things don't stay forever on the web, they often come and go like the wind. so collect them and put things you like in a safe place.
For my old viewers: Now I am posting the third in my series of Namban (Southern Barbarian/European) tales. An tale of tortures used in Europe. While the main focus of my illustrations is on Kinbaku (Japanese Tradition Tight Rope Bondage) the rest of world in 1600 AD was also doing all sorts of nasty things to their own people.
