For old viewers:  Today I finish the last illustration of my "Kinbaku Inspection" series of 30 large pictures. Tomorrow I will begin a short experiment, of 5 illustrations, in loading large Gif animations. Made from scenes in my 'Kinbaku Inspection' series. Hopefully they will a bit change of pace and a treat to my viewers. Then will begin my next series of illustrations called "Kinbaku Underground". Seen from an unusual view, it is primarily set in a cavern. Again set in around 1600 AD., in Japan. Mainly centered, as usual, around the topic of Kinbaku (Japanese traditional tight rope bondage).

Also note that I have loaded my sort of limited animation/slideshow with sound version of "Kinbaku Forest" on YouTube and if you scroll down this page there is a link to it. After you activate click the little box on the lower right of the screen and you can see it in the full screen version. I think it makes some of my best work as of date.

* PS Today 24 September 2015 I have posted my animation/slideshow with sound version of "The Unfortunates" on YouTube and if you scroll down on this page you can see it by clicking on it's picture.

For new viewers: I have over 2200 illustrations in my gallery. Many of which are arranged into story lines, some short, some hundreds of illustrations long. My artwork is a display the Japanese arts of Kinbaku (tight rope bondage), Shibari (binding), and Goumon (torture). That is why I refer to myself as a Kinbaku illustrator. There are also a number of special series like "Kinbaku Nightmares" and "Kinbaku Forest", in my galleries, each 50+ illustrations long, done in a large format. Besides that I have number of large scale illustrations of Japanese Castles and fleets, in my gallery, which I have built from scratch.

My illustrations are often placed in a sequential series with accompanying text to explain them more fully. The text enhances the illustrations and gives more life to the story. So to get the most out of my artwork view my illustrations and read the text. The text gives a voice to the characters in the illustrations. The text often contains notes explaining the situation more fully. Many notes are educational concerning the nature of the Japanese society in 1600 AD, at the end of the Sengoku (Waring states) period. But be warned, I pull no punches in my illustrations and commentary, my material is not for the faint of heart. It explores the dark side of people and society. Especially the beauty and mystery in the art of Japanese rope bondage.
